We are very proud to have been shortlisted in the digital category at the Cream Yorkshire awards for our Ben Shaws consumer website.

We’ve been working with Cott Beverages on the Ben Shaws brand for 3 years, and this year’s been an exciting one with the launch of the new consumer and trade websites, and Ben Shaws’ 140th anniversary celebrations. The website celebrates the heritage of the brand, and forms part of our ‘Refresh your memories’ campaign which launched in 2010.

We’re looking forward to tomorrow night’s Cream Yorkshire event, and will certainly be celebrating with a can or two of Bitter Shandy, should we be lucky enough to win. It’s also always a real treat to be reminded of what other creative and digital agencies in Yorkshire have been up to over the last 12 months.

It promises to be a good night, and we’ll definitely be in a celebratory mood no matter what the outcome!

Shaws of Huddersfield are a family based firm who specialise in the making of chutneys, relishes and sauces.  Established back in 1889, they are proud of their Yorkshire roots, their family history and ultimately their quality product.

Shaws turned to The Individual Agency for inspiration on how best to reinvigorate their brand; to develop an evolution of their logo, introduce new packaging to their everyday range and develop a new website in keeping with the look and feel of the new branding.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project, as we’ve had samples of Shaws chutneys and relishes passed around the office and taste tested!  A personal favourite of ours is the Devilish Chilli and Tomato Relish – which is sure to compliment any dish – particularly bbqs, so make the most of these last few weeks of summer!

We are proud to launch Tollington Plumbing and Heating this week!

Ben Hume-Wright, a plumbing and heating specialist, based in London, approached us to help him create a new name and brand identity for his plumbing business.   After brainstorming and considering a number of name options for thie business, Tollington Plumbing and Heating proved most popular- and fitting, as this is Ben’s hometown.

The brand marque symbolises a water pipe, whilst resembling the ‘T’ in Tollington, which when used in conjunction with other pipes creates an effective motif for use across a variety of marketing collateral including a stationery suite, webpage and van livery.  The green and yellow brand colours showcased across thevan certainly catch the eye, so you’ll be sure to know when Ben’s on his way!

As we’re sure you are now aware, it’s Ben Shaws 140th Anniversary this year!  Check out the birthday cake which was enjoyed at the Great Yorkshire Show Ben Shaws press conference- the cake being a complete replica of The Individual Agency’s award-winning can designs, with each individual flavour made out of icing! We love it!

Happy Birthday to us!

There are celebrations in the office today as it’s our 3rd birthday!  And what a year it’s been!

Thank you to all of our amazing existing clients and new clients who have joined us this year, for providing us with some thoroughly enjoyable, extremely interesting and sometimes very challenging projects.  From full brand development through to packaging and website design we have loved each and every one.

We’re very proud of all the work we have completed for you so a huge THANK YOU to all of you!  Now, let’s get that birthday cake cut!

2011 is a very special year for one of our clients, soft drinks brand Ben Shaws, as they have reached the prestigious 140-year milestone, which calls for celebration!  To spread the word about their long-standing history and heritage, Ben Shaws are visiting various county shows and festivals across the UK.

Complete with bunting, balloons, birthday cake and of course the taste tingling traditional soft drinks, Ben Shaws have already visited 2 county shows, Staffordshire and Lincolnshire.  Visitors filled the Ben Shaws stalls to discover their favourite flavour; Dandelion & Burdock, Cream Soda, Cloudy Lemonade or Bitter Shandy; learn about the brands’ history and celebrate with party games.

A ‘Miss Ben Shaws’ competition is also being held at each show, whereby the iconic pose of a previous winner has to be recreated.  The best pose will be the crowned ‘Miss Ben Shaws’ and win a years supply of Ben Shaws soft drinks.

Ben Shaws continues its 140th birthday tour with the ‘officially registered’ birthday on 12th July in Harrogate at the Great Yorkshire Show.  Other events where Ben Shaws will appear are Eccleston County Fair and Southport Air Show.  If you’re free, why not visit and wish a Happy Birthday!

We have just completed the brand development for Enjoy Design, an architectural and masterplanning company based in Leeds.  The project involved developing their existing logotype and a brand new website to help convey their direct approach, knowledge and expertise.

Enjoy Design was established in 2010 by Gregg Mitchell, following a very successful 14 years at Carey Jones Architects. Gregg’s reason for change was to get back to doing what he loves…. enjoy design.

Take a look at their new website here: www.enjoy-design.co.uk

This week has been fuelled with excitement, from tasting chutneys and relishes, to viewing architect plans!

We’re proud to be working with two local firms; relish and chutney company Shaws of Huddersfield and Enjoy Design Architects.

We like to immerse ourselves in the brands we work for and Shaws was no exception.  Whilst designing new packaging for their products, we couldn’t help but taste the delights of their Red Onion Chutney and Chilli and Tomato Relish!  We’re presenting our designs soon, so look out for the launch of the new packaging!

As for the architects, Enjoy Design, we’ve designed a fabulous new brand identity and are currently developing their new website, which is due to be launched over the next couple of weeks.  All in all, an exciting, creative week at TIA!

Cadbury’s new Dancing Clothes advertisement has been launched today and will be shown during the commercial break of Coronation Street.  The advertisement is part of of a £6.2m campaign and coincides with the launch of a new Choco brand.  Set in a charity shop, it involves second-hand clothes dancing to Jermaine Stewart’s ‘You don’t have to take your clothes off’.

Whether you like it or not, it’s an innovative, fun advert and makes you wonder how they achieved the effect! View it above or look out for it during Corrie!
